The Pizarro was founded in 1957 and begin competing profesionally on the 1974 season, on the fourth division. by 1988 got its ticket to the third division, before decesinding back to the fourth division in 2001.

In 2004 the team begun a total reestrucuture, that allowed to gain back its place on the third division in 2006 as well as a historic promotion to the second division in 2009.

The Pizarro now will begin its struggle for the promotion to the Hispania's Premier League in the season 2010

Pizarro's traditional uniform is formed by a blue jersey with green shorts and socks

The Municipal Stadium, with capacity for 9,000 fans is the home of the Pizarro team and its considered one of the thoughest stops in the league
