The Hekli Reds are one of the football teams based in Hekli, Tirnreich. Along with the Hekli Union, the Reds play in the south-central of Hekli, in its CBD. The Reds have come a long way from their humble beginnings as a rec team in the 70's and 80's under communist rule.
In the 1990's, the Red Stars (as they were known as at the time) were sponsored by Adidas and transferred up to 2. Bundesliga, one of the premier leagues in German football.
After Tirnreich independence in 2009, the Red Stars were honorably decommissioned from 2. Bundesliga and put aside.
In 2010, however, the Hekli football club was reactivated as the Hekli Reds (named after the Red Stars and red banner, symbols of communism) and are now officially slotted in the Imperial Football Federation.
Hekli Imperial Stadium seats roughly 88,000 spectators, making it one of the largest stadiums outside Sudfeld. With state of the art construction, H.I. Stadium, which was finished in 2008, can be quickly converted into a covered stadium using special covers and riggings. It is shared with the South Hekli Union.

The design of the logo primarily comes from the former Ulster flag, which features the Ulster hand, raised in defiance, with a golden "H" in its palm. The hand is centered on a red cross with a golden background, with the words "Hekli Reds" in a banner atop the shield.
The Hekli Reds have no mascot.
